It is important to attend the classes. Any time you are absent, it is your responsibility to obtain notes and assignments and be prepared for the next class. | |
Assignments |

Tests | Practical knowledge is checked by three 40 minute tests in the class (50 points each). No retakes allowed, but only the better two of the three tests count. |
Homeworks | • Obligatory HW: digital self-portait (grade: acceptable or non-acceptable) • Voluntary HW: digital postcard (for max.10 extra points). |
Final Submission Deadline for the Obligatory Homework: 15 Dec. 2023 (Fri), 12:00. | |

Minimum requirement to pass the semester: • Attendance of classroom activities and consultations • Successful (minimum 40%) accomplishment of two tests • Accepted digital self-portrait |

Points | Maximum 100 points can be obtained: • max. 100 points as the aggregate result of the two best tests (50 points each) • max. 10 points for the voluntary homework. |
Grading | • above 90 points – 5 (excellent) • above 75 points – 4 (good) • above 60 points – 3 (satisfactory) • above 40 points – 2 (pass) • below 40 points – 1 (fail) |
Remarks | Suggestions for achieving success: • Attending class and doing daily assignments is essential for success in this class. • Being a part of a group that studies together is quite often helpful. • There are consultaion possibilities in the classes and in office hours of the lecturers. |
