The aim of the course is to introduce the theoretical and practical foundations of CAD systems. The exercises are related to the fields of geometry and architectural history, and present two-dimensional constructions and three-dimensional modelling techniques and shapes that are often used in architecture, practicing the reconstruction of three-dimensional shapes based on their two-dimensional projections. In addition, the subject provides insight into the effective use of IT tools and the representation of functions and data in the context of engineering problem solving and algorithmic thinking.

Submit a unique drawing (your own design) which is similar to the test examples (e.g. in complexity).
• the DWG file should contain the 2D plan or the 3D model and its proper documentation.
• the PDF file should contain the printed version of the documentation in 1:100 scale.
• deadline: the day of the corresponding test, 10:00 AM.
